Load Index
The load index of a tire is the 2 or 3 digit number shown on the sidewall to tick the loading capacity of the tire.
For example, the highlighted number on the image above is “91”. It means that this tire can be loaded to a maximum of 615 kilograms.
Since there are 4 tires on a vehicle, the maximum total kilograms for that vehicle, with those tires, is 2,460 kilograms.
